Warehouse Operative
Role Overview
We seek a reliable individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative. This role is suitable for someone who can manage the physical heavy lifting of big fabric rolls and operate an FLT. Therefore, previous experience is a must.
Warehouse Operative Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store goods and supplies with accuracy and responsibility. This task will involve significant manual lifting.
- Operate a cutting table.
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (loading, packing, wrapping, labelling, shipping).
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assist with warehouse organisation and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience is a must.
- Forklift Certification.
- Able to handle heavy equipment and operating machinery.
- Ability to work independently.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems and order processing.
- Good communication skills to liaise with team members and other departments.

- Physically fit to manage lifting and moving packages and supplies.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
